Chicago Kollaboration to Inspire and Connect Heterogenic Communitiy

Chicago Kollaboration is an annual event which first created as part of the assimilation program of Asians in America. The event is a talent show where Asian American young talents, artists and performers can join the show. The Chicago Kollaboration is part of ProKreation Production events which is a Korean American and Korean Canadian organization. This organization was founded by Paul PK Kim in the year 2000 as a non-profit organization that intended to encourage young Asian American empowerment through the entertainment basis. Kollaboration already have the annual talent show events in about ten cities in Canada and United States.

Like all of the Kollaboration annual talent shows around America and Canada, the Chicago Kollaboration is intended to empower young Asian American in Chicago and provide a space for expression to encourage young talents for leadership training and reduce risky activities by youngsters using entertainment as the media. It is also the media for Asian American generations to interact by offering communication platform for them to have more intense communication. Being non-profit nongovernmental organization, Kollaboration also intended to unite the Asian American community as a large community with awareness for critical issues in national or international levels. The Chicago Kollaboration is part of the talent show programs that designed to inspire the world with the young talents that live and grow up away from their ancestors land by showing talents on entertainment stages. The Chicago Kollaboration also providing the chances for younger Asian American generations to learn and see about the cultures. It is also a method to educate the community for emerging positive image of Asian Americans and reduce and replace stereotypes which tends to be negative among the community members. Chicago Kollaboration also a mass media public relation program for showing positive creativity and to define the identification of Asian American culture and community.
